Since I graduated from high school in 2017, I've always worked for little companies in my area. Year after year I never felt fulfilled from what I did and so I grew tired of the office life. Two years ago I re-discovered a great passion of mine: horses. I abandoned this hobby simply because I didn't have time or money to keep going, but two years ago I had the opportunity to take care of my first horse and so a new, stronger love for these animals grew. During this period I helped the facility where this horse lived with leading and organizing trail rides with turists, but this was just a hobby of mine, because during this time I still worked in an office. On December of 2024 I've decided that I've had enough, so I quit my job and I came here in Iceland, to try to achieve my dream. I've decided to come to Iceland because when I was on vacation here in 2023 I was fascinated by your horse culture and especially by the way you treat these splendid animals, a way that is totally different from what I was used to see in Italy. So, with this idea in mind, I came here to learn. My very long term goal is to gain experience on guided tours and stable management so I can go back home (hopefully) and open my own facility, following the Icelandic way. I followed a course about natural horsemanship in 2024 and I'm eager to practice what I've learnt, because for me there is nothing more important than the wellbeing of the animal. Anyway, beside my extreme passion for horses and animals in general, I love playing videogames in my free time, reading fantasy books, exploring nature but most importantly I like to keep my mind full and stimulated. I'm a quick learner, I've always been, and I'm an organized person, very practical. I'm proudly saying that I don't mind staying alone, a feature that not long ago was not part of my character, and on the other hand I can be sociable and entertaining if I need to be.
