1. Data Controller

The data controller for your personal data is seasonal.work, located in Romania.

2. Types of personal data collected

We may collect the following types of personal data from you: - Contact information, such as name, email address, and phone number; - Account information, such as login details, account role, preferences, and settings; - Candidate profile information, such as CV or resume details, role preferences, seasonal experience, skills, availability, work preferences, accommodation readiness, work-rights selections, and optional video content; - Employer profile, job post, company, billing, and hiring workflow information; - Application, message, saved-job, shortlist, interview, and hiring activity information; - Usage data, device data, analytics, security logs, and information about how you use the platform.

3. Purposes of processing personal data

We may process your personal data to provide and maintain the platform, create and manage accounts, show jobs and candidates, process applications, enable employer-candidate communications, provide alerts and recommendations, process payments, improve platform quality, prevent fraud and abuse, enforce our policies, provide customer support, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes.

4. Legal basis for processing

We process data based on your consent, the performance of a contract, our legitimate interests in providing and improving our services, and compliance with legal or regulatory obligations.

5. Data recipients

We may share your data with service providers (hosting, analytics), potential employers if you apply for a job, and law enforcement or regulatory authorities if required by law.

6. Candidate profile visibility

Candidates can choose profile visibility settings. Depending on the selected setting, profile information may be private, visible to logged-in or approved employers, or public in the candidate directory. Public profile information may include name, location, role preferences, seasonal experience, skills, availability, work preferences, accommodation readiness, and optional video content. Candidates can change profile visibility at any time.

7. Public profile consent

Where seasonal.work relies on consent to display a candidate profile publicly, candidates can withdraw that consent by changing their profile visibility settings. If a candidate withdraws public visibility, seasonal.work will stop displaying the profile publicly. Search engines or third-party websites may take additional time to update cached content.

8. Video profiles

Candidates may upload video introductions. Video uploads are optional. Video content may be shown to employers or publicly depending on the candidate's visibility settings. Candidates should not include sensitive personal information in videos, including passport details, ID numbers, home addresses, bank details, medical information, or family information.

9. Candidate data shared with employers

When a candidate applies to a job, responds to an employer, or makes a profile visible to employers, seasonal.work may share relevant profile and application information with that employer for hiring purposes. Employers are required to use candidate data only for legitimate hiring purposes.

10. Sensitive information

Candidates should not upload or publish sensitive information unless specifically requested for a lawful hiring purpose through a secure process. seasonal.work may remove or redact sensitive information from public fields to protect users.

11. Matching and recommendations

seasonal.work may use profile information, job preferences, availability, location preferences, work-rights selections, application activity, and role interests to suggest jobs or candidates. Hiring decisions are made by employers, not seasonal.work.

12. Data transfers

We may transfer your personal data to countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA) if necessary, ensuring appropriate safeguards are in place in compliance with GDPR.

13. Data retention

seasonal.work retains personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including account operation, legal compliance, dispute resolution, safety, fraud prevention, and platform improvement. Candidates may request deletion of their account, subject to legal, security, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution retention needs.

14. Employer access and logs

seasonal.work may keep logs of employer access to candidate profiles, job applications, messages, and hiring activity for security, compliance, fraud prevention, analytics, and dispute resolution.

15. International users

seasonal.work is a global platform. Candidate and employer data may be processed in countries other than the user's country of residence, subject to applicable safeguards.

16. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, or erase your data, request restricted processing, object to processing, data portability, and withdraw consent at any time.
