What if I get fired or quit?
If you leave your sponsor, you legally only have **60 days** (expanded to 180 days in recent legislative bills) to either find a new sponsor to subsume your 482 visa, or depart Australia. Failing to secure a new sponsor renders your visa liable for cancellation.
