The 8-Day Rule: Signed Contract of Stay
Within 8 days of entering Italy, you must go to the *Sportello Unico* with your employer to sign the official **Contratto di Soggiorno** (Contract of Stay). This is the legal foundation of your residency permit.
Can I work for a different employer once I arrive?
