Can I be an entrepreneur on a PEP?
No. The PEP does not allow you to start your own business or engage in any entrepreneurial activity. It is strictly for professionals working for an employer.
What are the family benefits?
PEP holders can sponsor Dependant's Passes for their spouse and children, and **Long-Term Visit Passes (LTVP)** for their parents.
How long is the processing time?
Applications typically take 3-5 weeks as background income verification is rigorous.
Can I apply if I'm currently unemployed?
No. You must either be a current EP holder earning the threshold or an overseas professional whose last drawn fixed monthly salary (within the last 6 months) was at least S$22,500.
Is there a quota for PEP?
No. Like the EP and ONE Pass, there are no foreign worker quotas for Personalised Employment Pass holders.
